Marathon River Swim Series

The series' river marathons: the Charente at Cognac, the Ebro between Tivenys and Tortosa and the Glomma in Norway. Until 2024 the Thames was part of it, and its finishes still count. The crown goes to whoever completes three rivers.

The rules

The swimmer completes the series by swimming every stage within 5 years. Years count as calendar years: a stage swum in 2026 is valid until 31 December 2031. If the series is not complete by that date, the stage expires and the swimmer swims it again: the same race in a later year counts too.
Thames Marathon: a stage until 2024; finishes up to that year count.
A race counts with a finish in any edition. It is verified if the finish appears in linked results; otherwise you declare it with proof.
Skin or Wetsuit is the category for each stage. A crossing has the category registered by the governing body; a race has the category from its official results, or Skin if the rules prohibit wetsuits. Where the equipment is not specified, the stage counts as Wetsuit. The swimmer completes the series in Skin only if they have swum all stages in Skin, otherwise in Wetsuit.
Only verified completions enter the leaderboard. Declared stages count for your progress and your medal.
The completion date is that of the last missing stage.
