Terms and conditions
Last updated: 21 September 2026
1. NATURE OF THE SERVICE
Omniathlon is a free information directory of open water swimming races. The service is provided and operated by Ludwig S.r.l.s. — VAT no. IT06332200829 — Registered office: Italy (hereinafter also "Omniathlon"). We aggregate public data from federation calendars, third-party aggregators and organizers' websites. We do not organize races, manage registrations or process payments for sporting events.
2. DATA ACCURACY
Despite our editorial care, the data (dates, distances, prices, rules) may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Before registering for a race, always check the organizer's official website. The service is provided "as is", without any warranty of continuity, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
3. ORGANIZER CONTENT
Registered organizers may claim their race and manage the event page. Uploaded content is the sole responsibility of the organizer, who declares that they hold the rights to texts, photos and logos and that they comply with the applicable sports, health and insurance regulations. Omniathlon reserves the right to remove content that violates the law or the rights of third parties, or that is misleading or offensive.
4. USER CONTENT
Account holders may publish posts, comments, photos and a profile. They are solely responsible for this content and declare that they hold the rights to it. The service applies zero tolerance to objectionable content: insults, harassment, threats, incitement to hatred or violence, sexual content, spam and any content that violates the law or the rights of others. Such content is removed, and the account of whoever publishes it may be suspended or closed without notice.
Every user can report a post, a comment or a profile, and block another user, from the content's menu. Reported content is hidden pending review. In addition, the text of posts and comments passes through an automatic filter before publication.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The brand and the structure of the site belong to Ludwig S.r.l.s. Factual race data (name, date, place, distance) is not subject to copyright. Narrative descriptions, cover images and editorial content are subject to the respective rights of their authors or organizers.
The photographs published on race pages come from the organizers' websites or from open-access archives, and credit the source. The rights holder of an image may request its removal through the contact form: we will remove it without requiring any further formalities.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Omniathlon is not liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from the use of the site, including decisions made on the basis of the published data, technical malfunctions, unavailability of the service or the conduct of third-party sites (organizers, registration providers, aggregators).
7. EXTERNAL LINKS AND AFFILIATE LINKS
The site contains links to the websites of organizers, aggregators and affiliate partners. We do not control these sites and accept no responsibility for their content or privacy practices.
Some external links (accommodation, flights, experiences, equipment) are affiliate links: if you book or buy through them, we may receive a commission from the partner at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not influence editorial content or the order in which races are listed. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
8. ADMINISTRATIVE ACCESS
The administration areas and the organizer dashboard are reserved for authorized users. Any unauthorized access is prohibited and may be prosecuted under the law.
9. CHANGES
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms are governed by Italian law. The Court of Milan has exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to the mandatory rights of consumers.
